Create and manage due diligence projects [Release date: August 4, 2026)
Centralize all your due diligence projects in one flexible hub, and simplify your process by collecting and managing stakeholder feedback in one place.
Overview
Plan availability: Advanced
Please contact your CSM at Inpart to enable this feature on your Deal space.
Required user role: Manage/Contributor
The Due Diligence hub allows you to coordinate and collect structured input from internal and external stakeholders by organizing questions into sections, tracking submission progress, and consolidating responses to support your licensing or partnership decision.
Access the due diligence hub
Due diligences are all available from the due diligence hub. Open the navigation bar and click Due Diligence.
Note: Direct integration into Deal's opportunity pages will come later this year.
What's included in a due diligence project
Inside each due diligence, you will find:
- The status: Draft, Ongoing, Closed.
- A link to the related opportunity, agreement, or alliance in Deal.
- The due diligence owner.
- A Details section with the start date and a description field.
- A Shared files and emails section, where you can upload documents.
Due diligence statuses
There are three possible statuses: Draft, Ongoing, and Closed, and the content of the due diligence page evolves depending on them. Once the due diligence is Ongoing or Closed, it cannot be turned back to the Draft status.
- Draft
The Draft phase is when you create the questions that participants will answer during the due diligence, upload the relevant documents to help participants understand the context of the due diligence and answer the questions.
- Ongoing
The Ongoing phase is when the due diligence is open for participants to submit their answers. At this point, you can view the answers that have already been submitted.
You can also monitor the number of people who have already submitted their answers and send a reminder to those who haven't.
Click the Add participants button to see the details of who participated. If the survey is anonymous, you won't see the participation status.
- Closed
You can close the due diligence when all participants have submitted their responses. At this point, participants can no longer edit or submit answers.
You can view the number of responses and export the results.

Select the related opportunity and click Confirm.
A new due diligence page will open.

Set up questions
Choose between two structures depending on the complexity of your project: add questions directly to a single shared survey, or divide the assessment into multiple independent sub-assessments, one per functional area, each with its own questions, participants, and outcome.
You can either use a template or add new questions from scratch. Survey templates are organized into two categories: templates for single-survey assessments (built with direct questions) and templates for multi-survey due diligences (built with sub-assessments).
- To use a template, click the more option menu, and select Create from template.
See Manage templates for health checks and due diligences.
A pop-up will open where you can select the relevant template. - To create new questions from scratch, click Add question.
A new blank question will appear.
You can then:- Enter the question title.
- Choose the answer system:
- Scale: Define the scale range and denomination of the lowest score to the highest score. You can allow participants to add comments as well.
- Choice: Enter the possible answers and choose if you want it to be a single or multiple choice. You can allow participants to add comments as well.
- Text: There is nothing to set up here; a simple text field will appear once the question is published.
- Once the question format is set up, you can make it required, duplicate it, or delete it.
