Our integrations

Our integrations with external databases and Inpart Data materialise in two ways:

  1. Autofill for opportunity and company creation.
  2. Detailed profiles in the Database panel of opportunity and company pages.

Here's our current level of services for each of our integrated databases.

Opportunity autofill

Create pharma asset opportunities or companies using Cortellis or Pharmaprojects autofill

Cortellis and Pharmaprojects suggest existing company and asset profiles found in their databases when you create new pharma asset opportunities, or companies. If you select one of them, Cortellis or Pharmaprojects autofills key fields such as the company description, financial data, asset classification, development phase, and more.

Open the opportunity or company creation pop-up. Follow the general guidelines for opportunity creation here. See below for instructions regarding the company and asset autofill:

  • Company: Start entering a company name, and Cortellis and Pharmaprojects' suggestions will appear if they exist. If there is no match, the Cortellis and Pharmaprojects tabs display a No match found message. Cortellis and Pharmaprojects' company profiles are only suggested for opportunities with a pharma asset type.
  • Asset: If there are assets linked to the company previously selected, existing in the Cortellis or Pharmaprojects databases, they will be suggested. You can either select one of them, and in this case, the opportunity name will be the Cortellis or Pharmaprojects asset name, or you can manually enter an opportunity name, and the opportunity will be linked to the Cortellis or Pharmaprojects company profile. Cortellis and Pharmaprojects' asset profiles are only suggested for opportunities with a pharma asset type.
If there is no asset suggestion for the company previously selected in Cortellis or Pharmaprojects, the Cortellis and Pharmaprojects tabs aren't displayed, and you can only manually enter a company, asset, and opportunity name.

Important notes:

  • Cortellis/Pharmaprojects autofill works only for opportunities with a pharma asset type.
  • See the list of all fields that are populated by our database integrations: Index of opportunity and company fields populated by our integrated databases.
  • If the fields used for Cortellis/Pharmaprojects autofill are selected as required fields, you will have to select values manually during the opportunity creation, and the selected values will be added to the autofilled values in the opportunity page once it's created.

  • There is no interaction between Cortellis/Pharmaprojects and Inpart Data profiles. If a company is created with Cortellis/Pharmaprojects, only asset profiles from Cortellis/Pharmaprojects will be suggested, and vice versa.

Create opportunities using Inpart Data autofill

Inpart Data suggests existing company and asset profiles found in the Inpart database when you create new opportunities. If you select one of them, Inpart Data autofills key fields such as the company description, financial data, asset classification, development phase, and more.

Open the opportunity creation pop-up.

  1. Select the asset type to be associated with the opportunity. Depending on the selected asset type, only the opportunity types configured with this asset type will be available for selection for this opportunity.
  2. Enter the name of the initiative that the opportunity should be associated with and select it from the suggested list, or select it from the My initiatives list. When an opportunity is created from an initiative overview, the initiative is automatically pre-selected.
  3. Start entering a company name, and Inpart Data's suggestions will appear if they exist.Database opportunity creation.png
  4. If there are assets linked to the company previously selected and existing in the Inpart Data database, they will be suggested here. You can either select one of them, and in this case, the opportunity name will be the Inpart Data asset name, or you can manually enter an opportunity name, and the opportunity will be linked to the Inpart Data company profile.Database opportunity creation asset.png

You can, of course, still choose to add a new company or asset manually if you don't find any matching record. Inpart Data and Evaluate Pharma are daily updated and continuously curated, so you will probably be able to look for a new profile in the near future via the opportunity and company Database panel.

Access database profiles in opportunities and companies

  • In opportunities, click the database icon located next to the asset name in each asset section of the Details tab.
  • In companies, the database icon is located at the top-right of the page.

Match imported opportunities with Inpart Data and Evaluate Pharma

During bulk opportunity import, our algorithm automatically matches the companies and assets with Inpart Data profiles based on the ones found in your Excel spreadsheet. Then, if some Evaluate Pharma profiles match our Inpart Data profiles, they'll be displayed as well in the Database panel of the opportunities or companies.

The automatic matching is only made if the quality of the match is high enough. Our advanced algorithm is made to reduce false positives to a minimum and guarantee reliable matching.

Bookmark profiles

The Database panel shows a list of the most relevant asset profiles in the opportunity records and company profiles in the company records.

If you selected a suggested profile during the opportunity creation process, then the linked profile is automatically bookmarked at the top of the list and highlighted by a blue star. You can choose to remove the bookmark for the initial linked profile and bookmark other profiles if you think they're more relevant.

Hide irrelevant profiles

To keep a clean and simple view of the profile you're interested in, you can hide the other suggested profiles.

To do so, click the eye icon, or click Hide all to hide all the profiles of the list at the same time. Inpart Data and Evaluate Pharma profiles are separated so you'll have to hide profiles separately for both.

Once hidden, you can still access the hidden profiles by clicking See hidden profiles
