Filter opportunities with the AI Smart Filter

Express your search criteria in everyday language and receive results with filters automatically applied, saving you time when narrowing down opportunities.

Overview

Plan availability: Essential/Advanced. Please contact your CSM at Inpart to enable this feature.
User role required: Manager/Contributor

Type a simple request, and the smart search automatically translates it into precise opportunity filters applied behind the scenes.

Important: This functionality is only available in the opportunity hub for now.

Start a search

Open the opportunity hub and click the Smart filter button at the top of the page.

The following pop-up will open. Type your filtering criteria using natural language and press enter to launch the search.

Your last five most recent searches are available to use again in case you frequently use the same. Click one of them, and press enter in the search bar.

Stop the search

Depending on the complexity of your search prompt, it might take a few seconds to display the results. If it's taking too long, you can end the search. In this case, click Stop searching.

Check the search results

Once the Smart Search is complete, the results are displayed along with the search prompt you entered and the corresponding fields applied to generate those results. Click the "i" information chip to see how your search was understood.

You can also see the number of filters that have been selected in the filter panel, on the Filter button. If you open the filter panel, you can see the corresponding filters applied, and you can manually add or remove filters.

Restart a search

To launch a new smart search, you can simply click Smart filter again, and the previously selected filters will be replaced by the new filters.

Search specifications

  • You need to base your prompt on the existing filters available in the filter panel. The smart filter cannot look outside of these filters.
  • The smart filter respects access control and doesn't show restricted opportunities.
  • The smart filter works in different languages.
  • If the smart filter cannot interpret your prompt and apply the appropriate filters, it will perform a simple text search using the entered keywords instead.
  • The smart filter is not cumulative with a previously selected filter. However, you can manually select additional filters in the filter panel to add to the filters automatically applied by the smart search.
