Manage alliance types

Required user role: Manager with Business Admin role.

We offer a default Alliance type, but Business admin users can add, edit, or remove alliance types from the Administration page.

Navigate to the Alliance tab of the Administration page and select Alliance type in the Core section.

Click Add, a pop-up will open. Enter a name for the new alliance type and click Add.

To edit or remove alliance types, click the more option button next to the alliance type you want to modify, and select Edit or Remove and Delete.

Create alliances

There are two ways of creating an alliance:

1. From the navigation bar

You can create an alliance wherever you are in the application from the Create button at the bottom of the navigation bar. Click Create and select Alliance in the drop-down list.

2. From the alliance hub

You can create an alliance from the alliance hub, by clicking the Create button at the top right of the page.

After clicking any of the above-mentioned Create buttons, a pop-up will appear:

  1. Enter the name of the alliance (mandatory).
  2. Select the type of alliance (mandatory).
  3. Select the partner company(s) (mandatory).
  4. Select the related opportunity(s).
  5. The status of the alliance is set by default to Active, but you can select Launching if the alliance is not signed yet.
  6. The effective date of the alliance is set by default to the day you're adding this alliance to Inpart Deal, but you can select another date in the past or the future (mandatory).

Once you've entered all the information, click Confirm.

Once an alliance has been created and agreements, opportunities, companies, or contacts have been linked to it, a quick view of the alliance information is visible on the linked objects for reference.

  • On the opportunity page:
  • On the agreement page:
  • On the company page:
  • On the contact page:

Delete alliances

Click the more option button at the top right of the alliance overview and select Delete. A pop-up will appear asking for your confirmation.
