Filter lists and export standard Excel or one pager reports
Quickly share Excel and one-pagers in different formats with colleagues outside of Inpart Deal. This helps prepare for triage meetings and improve reporting.
Important: This article gives the guidelines for filtering and exporting opportunities. The same guidelines apply identically to agreements, alliances, companies, and other objects.

Filter lists
Existing filter panel
On hub pages, click the Filter button.
On sub-page lists, click the More filters button.
A filter panel will open on the right side of your screen. Select the relevant criteria and click Apply filters. To clear all filters, click Clear all.
[Beta] New filter panel
This new filter panel only applies to the opportunity and obligation hubs for beta users. Please contact your CSM at Inpart if you wish to enable the beta mode on your Deal platform and try these features.
On hub pages, click the Filter or "+" button.
On sub-page lists, click the More filters button.
A filter panel will open on the right side of your screen. Use the search bar to quickly find the relevant criteria. Select the relevant values and click Apply filters. To clear all filters, click Clear all.
Active filters are displayed at the top of your opportunity or obligation lists, making it easy to review, adjust, or clear filters without reopening the filter panel.

Export a standard Excel file
Plan availability: Essential/Advanced
Required user role: Manager/Contributor (see details)
- The exported file can contain a maximum of 1,000 opportunities.
- The exported file contains two tabs in the Excel file. One Opportunities tab for the general information about the opportunity and the main asset, and one Assets tab with all the assets information.
You can export opportunities from the opportunity hub to a standard Excel file. Two parameters need to be taken into account to generate a finely targeted export:

Which opportunities do you want to export?
To define the perimeter of the opportunities you want to export, apply filters first before proceeding to the export. You can export all the opportunities or only the ones that match the filters. -
Which fields do you want to export?
To define the perimeter of the fields to be displayed in the export, add or remove columns in the list of opportunities before proceeding to the export. One column corresponds to one field.
To proceed with the export, click "Export" at the top of the opportunity hub. A pop-up window will appear. From there, you can either choose to:
- Export all available columns (i.e., opportunity fields) even if they're hidden in the list of opportunities.
- Export only the columns (i.e., opportunity fields) chosen for display in the list of opportunities for a light and finely targeted export.
Then, click Confirm. An Excel file will be instantly downloaded.
Export one-pagers
Plan availability:
Essential: One PowerPoint default template available for opportunities with a Pharma asset type, one for Technology, and one for Organization and Consumer Health type.
Advanced: In addition to the default templates from Essential, custom templates available in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel formats.
Required user role:
Manager
The exported file can contain a maximum of 500 opportunities.
The one-pager extracts and displays on one slide all the important information recorded on the opportunity page in Deal, to review the opportunity during triage meetings with your team. You can export one-page reports in various formats (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
You have two options to export one-pagers:
- Export a list of one-pagers from a list of opportunities.
- Export a single one-pager from the opportunity page.
To export a group of one-pagers, go to the list of opportunities, apply filters if needed, and click Export at the top of the list.
To export a single one-pager, go to the opportunity page, click the more options menu at the top right corner of the page, and select Export. A pop-up will open to launch the export process.
Default templates
Plan availability: Essential/Advanced.
Three PowerPoint default templates are available.
- Inpart Default Template for Technology Asset Opportunities.
- Inpart Default Template for Pharma Asset Opportunities.
- Inpart Default Template for Opportunities: this one is to be used for opportunities with an Organization or Consumer Health asset type.
First, make sure to filter opportunities with the relevant asset category to match the asset type of the export template.
Then, click the Export button.
Select the relevant template and click Confirm.
The export will start in the background, and you will be notified once it's complete. The file will be saved in your computer's downloads.
Custom templates
Plan availability: Advanced.
Several templates in various formats might be available depending on how your platform was configured. The last used (or created if not used yet) template is preselected by default in the export pop-up. Select the template of your choice and click Confirm.

Customize one-pager templates

Required user role: Manager with Business Admin rights
Advanced Deal plan users have access to multiple customized templates in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel formats to fit their different opportunity types. These templates are created by Inpart.
Please contact your CSM at Inpart to initiate the creation of your customized templates.
