About the new authentication system [Release date: August 4, 2026]
We are upgrading Deal’s legacy authentication system to Auth0. The authentication system defines how users login to the platform. Here's what's changing, what you'll notice, and answers to common questions.
Why we're making this change
Auth0 (part of Okta) is one of the most widely adopted identity platforms in the industry. Moving to Auth0 gives us access to a more actively maintained platform with broader security certifications, more built-in login options, and faster support for modern authentication standard. It also brings:
- Easier movement between Inpart products.
- One consistent sign-in experience.
- Stronger, more modern security options.
What changes
The way you use Deal is not changing: the underlying workflow, features, and permissions all stay the same. There is a new look and feel to the design of the login page, welcome email, password reset email, and verification email. The content and links will still work the same way.
The first time you login to Deal after the migration, you will notice a new login page:
Single sign-on (SSO) users
If your organization uses single sign-on (SSO) to log into Deal, your existing SSO setup does not need to change. That connection continues to work. It's simply being connected through our updated sign-in system rather than replaced. When you log in, you can select the “Use Single Sign-on” option, and you will be automatically logged in as usual.
Standard login (username & password) users
A re-login
After the change goes live, you may be asked to log in again, even if you were previously logged in. Because the login page itself is changing, browsers that previously remembered your Deal password may not recognize the new page and won't offer to fill it in automatically. You may need to enter your credentials manually the first time (or reset your password if you don't remember it), and update your saved password on your browser.
You may need to reset your password
Your existing password continues to work. However, if your password does not meet Auth0’s password security standard, you may need to reset your password.

FAQ
Do I need to do anything to prepare? No action is required beforehand. After the change, you will simply need to log in again.
Will my company's SSO still work? Yes. Your organization's existing SSO configuration is preserved. You should be logged in automatically after the change.
Does it affect Outlook Add-in? You may be asked to login again to your Outlook Add-in. If your organization is on SSO, you may be asked to enter your unique company identifier, which is the beginning of the URL you use to access Inpart. For more details, refer to Login to the add-in for the first time.
Why doesn't my browser remember my password anymore? Browsers tie saved passwords to the exact login page. Since the login page has a new design, most browsers treat it as a new site and won't auto-fill your saved credentials. You can simply re-enter your password once, and your browser should offer to save it again going forward.
I cleared my browser cache/cookies right around the time of the change and now I see an error page instead of the login screen – what do I do? If this happens, navigate directly to your usual Deal login URL again (rather than using a bookmarked or cached link), and you should reach the normal login page. If the error persists, please contact our support team.
Will I be logged out more often than before? Session and token settings are being adjusted as part of this change. In most cases this won't be noticeable, but some users may see slightly different behavior around how long they stay logged in before being asked to sign in again. If you notice you're being logged out unexpectedly often, let us know.
Will this affect features that connect Deal and Connect (e.g., "View all in Connect")? These cross-product links are part of what this change is building toward. If you notice a broken link or unexpected behavior when moving between Deal and Connect right after the change, please report it – it will help us fix any remaining rough edges quickly.
Who do I contact if something looks wrong? Contact our support team at support@inpart.io with a screenshot if possible. This helps us tell the difference between a one-time transition hiccup and a real issue.
I can't log in and I see a "Wrong email or password" message. What should I do? If you see a "Wrong email or password" error message when trying to log in, please reset your password. Even if you believe your saved password is correct, a password reset may be required to restore access to your account. Follow the steps in the reset your password section of this article to update your password and log in again.
