Create and manage open calls

Overview

In addition to traditional time-bound, subject-focused campaigns in Connect Enterprise, Open Calls allow you to accept general innovation submissions year-round. This means that users in the Connect Network can submit ideas and proposals even if they don’t fit the exact criteria of an ongoing campaign.

Configure open calls

Click your avatar in the top right-hand corner and select My Galleries from the drop-down list.

Click Manage on your existing gallery.

Toggle the Open call button to enable the feature.

Customize the Open Call card – update the thumbnail, title, description, and button text. Configure the submission types you want to accept and the target initiative in Deal. Once enabled, the Open Call will be publicly visible in your Gallery.

Click your avatar in the top right-hand corner and select My Campaigns from the drop-down list. The open calls are displayed first in the list as they are permanent.

Click Submissions on the open call line.

Review submissions using the same tools as campaign submissions and make a screening decision: Accept, Decline, or Push to Deal.

Best practices and tips

  • Clearly define submission types to attract relevant proposals.
  • Regularly review Open Call submissions to ensure timely responses.
  • Use Push to Deal for long-term tracking and corporate memory storage.
  • Customize the Open Call card to provide clear submission guidelines.
